Salwan Momika Social Media Post: The news of the death of Salwan Momika, who made headlines by burning the Quran in front of a big mosque in Sweden, has been proved wrong. 10 days ago claims were made that he was found dead in Norway but now he himself posted on social media that he is alive. Salwan Momika told that she is currently in Sweden.

Salwan Momika told through X Post, “My friends, I am not well. I am paying the price for freedom and speaking the truth. The whole world is against me and Norway has shot the chest of freedom.” In another post he said that the news of his death was published to scare everyone who criticizes Islam. He said, 'Your false rumors and false media will not scare me. I am alive and will not bow down despite the atrocities committed by the Norwegian authorities.”

The news of Salwan Momika's death came in the beginning of April.

Salwan Momika made global headlines last year when he burnt the Holy Quran in front of the Grand Mosque in Stockholm, the capital of Sweden. He is originally from Iraq and came to Sweden as a refugee. In the beginning of April, the news of Momika's death came, in which it was claimed that she was found dead in Norway.

Norway had refused to grant asylum, he was arrested

Salwan Momika tried to seek asylum in Norway but was arrested. He told- As soon as I reached Norway, I was arrested and taken to court. Norwegian police accused him of posing a threat to national security. The police kept me imprisoned in a secret place, away from the media and press, away from the monitoring of human rights organizations. After rejecting my asylum appeal, Norway returned me to Sweden and I am now in Sweden without any rights. As if I live in an Islamic country. I hope that some country will accept me and give me asylum.
