Shubman Gill Double Century: Shubman Gill made history by hitting a double century in the first innings of the Birmingham Test. Not only England, he has become the first Indian captain to score a double century in SENA countries. At the age of 25, he not only left behind Virat Kohli, but also broke the records of many veterans.

Team India’s young captain Shubman Gill’s bat is not taking the name of stopping these days. In the second Test being played against England in Birmingham, he created history by hitting the first double century of Test career. Gill achieved this achievement on the second day of the match with a single in Josh Tung’s over and also registered his name on many records.

With this double century, Shubman Gill has now become the first Indian captain to score a double century in Tests on England’s soil and at the same time in England, India’s highest score in an innings. Earlier this record was named after Mohammad Azharuddin, who scored 179 runs in Manchester in 1990.
