Former Indian cricketer and IPL champion with Chennai Super Kings, Suresh Raina has provided a significant update regarding MS Dhoni’s future in the lucrative cricket league.
During a conversation with RP Singh and Anant Tyagi in the Jio Cinema Hindi commentary box, Suresh Raina disclosed this information. It’s being rumored that the 2024 season will be MS Dhoni’s final stint in the IPL. Dhoni further clarified this by resigning from captaincy just a day before CSK’s first match against RCB.
Suresh Raina Gave A Big Confirmation About MS Dhoni’s Participation In IPL 2025
RP Singh mentioned that he hadn’t discussed the matter with MS Dhoni. However, Suresh Raina revealed that Dhoni intends to play in the 2025 season.
“One question that I have in mind is about the man who has played 11 IPL finals. Parthiv said that it could be his final season in IPL but RP bhai, will this be his final season? You meet him very often and you talk to him.” – Anant Tyagi asked.
“I don’t think it will be his final season. Yes I keep talking to him but I haven’t really spoken to him about this. Raina what do you think final season?” – RP Singh replied.
Responding to this, Raina gave a short and simple answer that, “He will play”.
