Trump now announced the Gaza ceasefire, proposal to Netanyahu; Learn when it will be implemented
Donald Trump, US President.
Washington: US President Donald Trump has now announced a ceasefire in Gaza after ceasefire in Israel-Iran and Congo-Ravanda. Trump said on Tuesday that Israel has agreed to the terms of the 60 -day ceasefire in Gaza. Now he warned Hamas to accept this proposal, otherwise the situation would be worse.
Trump announced this at a time when he is preparing to talk to the Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu at the White House on Monday. The US President has increased the pressure on both Israel and Hamas for a compromise on the release of the ceasefire and hostages, so that the war in Gaza can end.
Israel accepted conditions
Trump said, “My representatives held a long and positive meeting with the Israeli officials on Ghaja today. Israel has accepted the conditions required to finalize the 60 -day ceasefire. During this time we will work with all the parties to work on ending the war.” He informed that this final proposal will be transported to Qatar and Egypt.
Trump said-no better proposal will be available than this
The US President further said, “I hope that Hamas will accept this proposal because it will not give a better proposal – after that the situation will worsen.” Hamas can see the statement given by Trump’s proposal as “best and final” with suspicion.
Trump has put pressure on Hamas before
Earlier, even before the end of the longest struggle of the war in the last March, Trump has issued sharp ultimatums to pressurize Hamas many times to provide long breaks in the fight, release of hostages and more assistance to the citizens of Gaza. Trump currently sees Trump as a possible deciding turn of this fierce conflict, with more than 56,000 people killed in Gaza so far.
From when the proposal will be implemented
From when this proposal will be implemented, no announcement has been made in this regard, because there will be doubt about whether Hamas will accept it right now. However, Trump has started pressurizing Hamas. US officials believe that Hamas’ central command and control capabilities have become very weak in a struggle of about 21 months. Meanwhile, Hamas’s chief supporter Iran also suffered serious losses in 12 days of attacks on its nuclear bases by Israel and the United States last month. In such a situation, Hamas is under pressure.
50 hostage in Gaza right now
On Tuesday, Israeli Strategic Affairs Minister Ron Dermer arrived in Washington to talk to senior administrative officials on a possible ceasefire, Iran and other issues in Gaza. He is expected to meet Vice President JD Wance, External Affairs Minister Marco Rubio and Special Envoy Steve Witchoff. Earlier, Trump had expected the Israel-Hamas ceasefire deal next week. When asked if it was time to pressurize Netanyahu for the agreement, Trump said the Israeli Prime Minister is ready for the agreement. Trump visited a new immigration captive center in Florida and told reporters, “He wants to do it.” There are still about 50 hostage left in Gaza, out of which less than half of which are expected to be alive.
