New Delhi: In a chilling incident unfolded in Durgdham Colony, situated within the Chandausi Kotwali area of Sambhal district, Uttar Pradesh, a six-year-old boy fell victim to a horrific crime as he was fatally attacked, his throat slit with a blade by his own maternal uncle.

Eyewitnesses recounted the harrowing moments when the incident unfolded at 5:30 in the morning. The accused, identified as Kunal, led the young victim, Kunj, to a plot approximately 250 metres from their residence, where the brutal attack occurred.

The child’s cries for help drew the attention of nearby residents and family members, who swiftly intervened, detaining the perpetrator until the arrival of police. CO Dr. Pradeep Kumar, accompanied by Kotwali police personnel, spearheaded the response effort, ensuring the scene was thoroughly examined.

Man kills son over property dispute

In another incident from UP’s Kheri district, a 58-year-old man, Ram Nakshatra, murdered his son, Brijendra Kumar (30), while he slept, unwilling to share property. To evade detection, he burned the body and disposed of the remains in a pond. Brijendra’s wife, Neelam, alerted authorities when he went missing. Police arrested Ram Nakshatra after recovering bones from the pond. Charged under IPC sections 302 (murder) and 201 (destroying evidence), he confessed and was incarcerated to prevent evidence concealment.
