3 Best IPL Playoffs Innings : The playoff matches of the 17th season of IPL (IPL 2024) will start from today. In the first qualifier, Kolkata Knight Riders are facing Sunrisers Hyderabad, while in the eliminator match, Rajasthan Royals and Royal Challengers Bangalore will face each other. Many records have been made by the batsmen in the league stage of IPL and this can also be seen in the upcoming playoff matches played so far in IPL history. Suresh Raina vs Punjab Kings (IPL 2014, Qualifier 2)

The second qualifier match in IPL 2024 was played between Chennai Super Kings and Kings XI Punjab (now Punjab Kings). Batting first, Punjab team scored a huge score of 226/6. For Punjab, opener Virender Sehwag scored a brilliant century and played a stormy innings of 122 runs but this innings of Sehwag paled in front of Suresh Raina's storm. Chennai Super Kings touched the 100-run mark in 6 overs of powerplay in which Suresh Raina had an important contribution. He played a stormy inning of 87 runs in 25 balls in which he hit 12 fours and 6 sixes. However, after his run out, none of the Chennai batsmen could play a big innings and the team lost by 24 runs.

AB de Villiers vs Gujarat Lions (IPL 2016, Qualifier 1)

The year 2016 has been the best IPL year for RCB so far. Bengaluru had reached the finals that season. However, the team missed out on becoming champion at the final stage. But before that, in the Qualifier 1 match, AB de Villiers played an innings which surprised everyone.

While chasing the target of 159 runs by Gujarat Lions, RCB team lost the first 5 wickets for 29 runs but from here De Villiers first made an important partnership of 39 runs with Stuart Binny and then made 81 runs with Iqbal Abdullah. Had a match winning partnership. AB de Villiers stayed till the end and finished the match in the first 10 balls, taking RCB to the final. AB played an excellent inning of 79 runs in 47 balls which included 5 fours and 5 sixes.

Rajat Patidar vs Lucknow Super Giants (IPL 2022, Eliminator)

In the Eliminator match of IPL 2022, RCB's young batsman Rajat Patidar scored a brilliant century and took his team to Qualifier 2. Rajat had scored 112 runs in 54 balls which included 12 fours and 7 sixes. Patidar also made a stormy partnership of 92 runs with Dinesh Karthik in the last 41 balls.
