US State Department spokesperson Matthew Miller said that we are committed to protecting the right to freedom of religion of everyone around the world. Miller said that since Prime Minister Narendra Modi came to power, the secular structure and strong democracy in India has weakened. The published report claimed that Muslim families in India are suffering from pain and isolation. They are trying to raise their children in a country that is questioning their identity. Actually, 43.15 percent increase has been recorded in the Muslim population in India, but America is still raising questions.

Recently a report of the Prime Minister's Economic Advisory Council came. In which it was claimed that the Muslim population in India was 9.84 percent in 1950, which increased to 14.09 percent in 2015. In this way, the Muslim population increased by 43.15 percent in 75 years. Between 1950 and 2015, the share of majority Hindu population increased from 84.68 percent to 78.06 percent, showing a decrease of 7.82 percent. The report recorded an increase in Christian, Sikh and Buddhist populations, while a decline in Jain and Parsi populations.

PM Modi exposed
Prime Minister Modi also highlighted the same report and claimed that the story that minorities are in danger is false and has been exposed. He said that the assumption that has been made is proving wrong.
