BJP released list of candidates for Punjab-UP and Odisha, new list of BSP

New Delhi: The excitement for Lok Sabha elections 2024 has intensified. Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has released the 12th list of its candidates. BJP has released the list for Maharashtra, Punjab, Uttar Pradesh, West Bengal and Telangana. Besides, BJP has also released a separate candidate list for the assembly to be held in Odisha. Meanwhile, Aam Aadmi Party has released the third and final list for 10 Lok Sabha seats in Punjab.

AAP has announced 4 candidates from Punjab. In this, tickets have been given to Ludhiana MLA Ashok Pappi Parashar, Firozpur MLA Jagdeep Singh Kaka Brar, Gurdaspur MLA Amansher Singh Shari Kalsi and Jalandhar MLA Pawan Tinu. Let us tell you that Pawan Tinu had left Akali Dal and joined AAP a few days ago.

In the BJP list, Shashank Mani Tripathi has been given ticket from Deoria, Uttar Pradesh, while Thakur Vishwadeep Singh has been given ticket from Farijobada. BJP has also decided its candidate for the famous Harbor seat of Kolkata. BJP has fielded Abhijit Das (Bobby) from this seat. Chhatrapati Udayanraje Bhosale has been given ticket from Satara, Maharashtra.

Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) has released the names of 11 more candidates for the Lok Sabha elections. In which Athar Jamal Lari has been fielded from Varanasi against Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Mainpuri Lok Sabha ticket has been changed to Shiv Prasad Yadav. Bahubali Dhananjay Singh's wife Shrikala Singh has been given the ticket from Jaunpur.

The three seats of Punjab for which names of candidates have been announced include Khadur Sahib, Hoshiarpur (Scheduled Caste) and Bathinda. BJP has made Manjeet Singh Manna Miyavind from Khadur Sahib, Anita Som Prakash from Hoshiarpur and Parampal Kaur Sidhu from Bathinda its candidates. Parampal Kaur Sidhu, a former IAS officer, had joined BJP only last week. She has been posted as Managing Director of Punjab State Industrial Development Corporation.
