ICICI Bank has issued an advisory for customers against new cyber frauds. Many such cases have come to light in which innocent customers are cheated, in such a situation if caution is not taken then they may have to face financial loss. Citizens are being cheated through social media.
Be careful on social media
It is suggested that you use caution if you use social media like WhatsApp, email. People are lured by the fraud of bank officials by sending fraud links through social media. Then their personal details are taken out and they are cheated.
Such message is never sent by the bank.
Customers have to keep in mind that the bank never sends such messages in which it is advised to download any kind of app. Therefore, it is important that if you receive such a message, do not believe it.
