In fact, The indigenously manufactured LCA Mark 1A fighter aircraft made in India has made its successful maiden flight today. The aircraft, manufactured by Hindustan Aeronautics Limited in Bengaluru, remained in the air for 15 minutes during its maiden flight.

HAL may hand over the indigenous Light Combat Aircraft to the Air Force by the end of this March. This fighter aircraft can be deployed by the Air Force at the Nal Aircraft Station in Bikaner, Rajasthan, bordering Pakistan.
