Bengaluru. WPL 2024: Since the beginning of the second season of the Women's Premier League i.e. WPL, the defending champion Mumbai Indians has started strengthening its hold on the points table. After winning the first two matches of the season, the Harmanpreet Kaur-led MI team has reached the first position with 4 points. Apart from MI, the only other team in the league is RCB which has won a match. Smriti Mandhana-led Royal Challengers Bangalore defeated UP Warriors in their first match. Both these teams are currently in the top-2 of the WPL 2024 points table.

Mumbai Indians became number one in the points table
Harmanpreet Kaur's Mumbai Indians WPL 2024 The second season of IPL started by defeating last season's runner-up Delhi Capitals. In the first match, MI won by 4 wickets. Their second match on Sunday night was with Gujarat Giants where they chased the target and won the match by 5 wickets. With these two consecutive wins, MI has 4 points in its account and is currently at the first position in the points table. Apart from Mumbai Indians, Royal Challengers Bangalore team has managed to open its account in the points table. Apart from these, the teams of Delhi Capitals, UP Warriors and Gujarat Giants are at third, fourth and fifth position respectively after losing their first match.

How was the Mumbai Indians vs Gujarat Giants match?
