Xi Jinping sent a condolence message to the First Vice President of Iran on the death of Iranian President

Beijing, May 20 (IANS). After the tragic death of Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi, Chinese President Xi Jinping has sent a condolence message to Iran's First Vice President Mohammad Mukhbar. President Xi Jinping expressed his deep condolences on behalf of the Chinese government and people.

He expressed his sincere condolences to First Vice President Mukhbel, the relatives of President Ebrahim Raisi and the Iranian government and people.

President Xi Jinping said President Ebrahim Raisi had made important contributions to maintaining Iran's security and stability and promoting national development and prosperity during his tenure. He also did commendable work towards strengthening and deepening the comprehensive strategic partnership between China and Iran.

His untimely demise is a great loss to the Iranian people and the Chinese people have also lost a dear friend.

The Chinese government and people attach great importance to the long-term friendship between China and Iran and are confident that the China-Iran comprehensive strategic partnership will continue to strengthen and develop through joint efforts of the two sides.
