Bilaspur: A tragic incident has come to light from Bilaspur, Chhattisgarh, as a son stands accused of killing his own father. In the chilling incident, the son, identified as Sagar Yadav, allegedly electrocuted his father, Suraj Yadav, in the Kota police station area. What’s more shocking is the calculated attempt made by Sagar to disguise the murder as a natural death, until his plan was thwarted by his stepmother.

The incident unfolded when Radha Yadav, the wife of the deceased, found Suraj Yadav’s lifeless body on the morning of March 24, at their residence in Ramnagar. Sensing foul play, Radha alerted the authorities, suspecting her husband’s demise wasn’t as it seemed.

Upon closer inspection, suspicions were confirmed. Post-mortem examination revealed that Suraj Yadav had succumbed to electric shock, prompting authorities to delve deeper into the circumstances surrounding his death.

Sagar Yadav, the son of the deceased, admitted to planning his father’s demise by electrocution using a GI wire. However, what left investigators and the community reeling was the motive behind the heinous act. Sagar claimed that his father had a bad eye on his wife, Sagar’s daughter-in-law, and drove him to commit the crime.

In the words of the Additional Superintendent of Police, “Sagar Yadav confessed to the murder, citing his father’s bad eye on his wife as the reason behind his actions.”

The initial attempt to pass off Suraj Yadav’s death as natural was quickly debunked by family members, including his second wife, Devaki Yadav, and sister Savitri, who voiced their suspicions to the police.
