Retired Colonel Vaibhav Anil Kale lost his life in Gaza, Foreign Ministry's statement on his death
Gaza.The Indian national, who was killed while traveling by vehicle from Rafah area to Khan Yunis area to a hospital, has been identified as former army officer Vaibhav Anil Kale. The identity of Vaibhav Anil Kale was revealed. Farhan Haq, Deputy Spokesperson of the UN Secretary General, said in the statement that the conflict in Gaza continues to have a heavy impact. The Ministry of External Affairs expressed condolences on the death of Colonel Vaibhav Anil Kale (Retd), an Indian citizen who worked with the United Nations in Gaza. The Ministry of External Affairs said that India's Permanent Mission to the United Nations in New York as well as its Missions in Tel Aviv and Ramallah are providing all assistance in bringing back the mortal remains of Anil Kale to India.
