Ayodhya, 17 April (Hindustan Reporter) The festival of Chaitra Ram Navami is being celebrated with great enthusiasm across the country. On this occasion, Surya Tilak was applied to Ramlala, seated in the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi temple, with the rays of the sun. This is the first Surya Tilak of Ramlala after his consecration on January 22 at the Janmabhoomi temple.
Ramlala's Surya Tilak was done in Abhijeet Muhurta at 12 noon on Wednesday and sun rays fell on his forehead for 3 minutes. Seeing this scene the devotees present there were overwhelmed. According to Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust, a 65 feet long system has been prepared from 20 pipes of Ashtadhatu for Surya Tilak. It has four lenses and four mirrors. Through this, the sun's rays were reflected and reached Ramlala's head. After Surya Tilak, the doors of Ramlala were closed for some time.
On normal days, the doors of the temple open at 6.30 in the morning, but on the occasion of Ram Navami, the doors of the temple were opened at 3.30 in the morning. Devotees will be able to have darshan of Ramlala till 11.30 pm. After Shayan Aarti, Prasad will be available at the exit from the temple. Lakhs of devotees have reached Ayodhya to have darshan of Ramlala.
During this, General Secretary of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust Champat Rai and Chairman of Shri Ram Temple Construction Committee Nripendra Mishra were prominently present in the Ram temple.
Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said in an ex-post that the grand 'Surya Tilak' adorned on the forehead of Suryakul Bhushan Shri Ram Lalla is today illuminating the entire nation with its eternal glory. Jai Jai Shri Ram!
